I offer weekend retreats in places such as Seabrook and Cannon Beach where we learn to re-experience learning how to relax and discover our own true nature. In this setting, we can take time to discover what we want for ourselves now and in the future and live in the now moment.
Whispering Winds Wellness is excited to announce our 2023 retreat programs! These retreats are experiential mindfulness-based programs, designed to help you build your own practice to enhance your wellbeing and bring balance to your life.
After our popular Spring Retreat, our second retreat will be held at Rockaway Beach on the Oregon coast June 9-11. Our primary focus will again be mindfulness with an emphasis on aging and finding meaning in later years. Topics will include building a successful meditation practice, overcoming loneliness, and finding purpose as we near or enter our retirement years. This retreat is sold out.
Our Fall retreat will take place in late September the location still to be determined. The theme will be mindfulness as a tool to bring peace and clarity to the upcoming holiday season. Participants will learn how a strong consistent mindfulness practice can help us counter winter darkness and keep our spirits positive. Topics will include building and maintaining a regular mindfulness practice, gentle yoga as a movement, the importance of time outdoors for our wellbeing and the benefits of letting go.
